I personally have never played any Final Fantasy games, but with this being an MMO I just thought I may have an interest. He are a couple of trailers.

I'll probably get Fifa 12, but not Fifa 11 since I still have Fifa 09. I don't update my sports games to often. Reach has been taking up most of my time too. Neo, we need to play together sometime.

I don't play a lot because every console I have is somewhere else...Still have my laptop so I can still play GW, but for some weird reasons I have much more lag here than on an island lost in the ocean...

That is because the French are bad. Especially on the interwebz. I don't think I have ever had a game where a French person had a good connection, even if the host was from England.

Why give up? They are fun and allow you to numb your mind while you play. At least for me, just screw around and have fun.

Agreed, i usually take a few months break from certain games, especially Guild Wars and world of Warcraft, as those 2 are time killers. >.<

And yeah, french internet sucks i guess... never seen a french person to have good connection either.

But when Guild Wars 2 is out, i'll be living of rocks and pepper for 1 month :P

I will still be playing gw when gw2 comes out....and until I finish the stuff I want to and then I will stop playing online video games completely (I will still drag spore and alien crossfire out on occasion ....since you can play a whole game of those in a full day)....

I never got into the shooting games and most of them make me sick anyways....so its a good thing.

left over sushi for dinner

Culver's for dinner for me.

My gf gets sick when she watches me play certain FPS and TPS games. I haven't played GW to do anything productive in a long time. Just got a bit boring for me.

Hmm, danish people are trying to get halloween and Valentines day to "break through" here in Denmark, i find it rather fúcking useless though, as it's not our traditions, + we got something called "fastelavn" which is kinda like halloween already, and "thanksgiving" is Christmas Dinners.

But producers LOVE to shove shítty "marked days" from America down our throats.

Also, we have christmas on the 24th not the 25th, but that's ok :P

But man, halloween and Valentines day are stupid for a dane, what if you suddenly had "holy 3 kings" ? a danish thing, which had nothing to do with ya'll

I LOVE turkey---it was the thing I most missed while I was in japan (sorry turkey is very american and while you could get full birds in japan--I had no oven and only me to feed, so just HOW am I supposed to cook and eat a 10lb bird??????)
so we eat turkey a lot during the year.

Holidays....I have a sibling born on or near just about every one---halloween my sister hit, so yeah we used to have full shindigs back in the day.....

and azzer---'all hallows eve' is part of a christian holiday gone slightly awry (though many roman catholics still have celebrations about it)....thanksgiving though is american totally.
and yeah, send us another holiday---hallmark would love ya for it

though I do believe while I was in japan we had quite a few more holidays than the usa does---including grandparents day, white day(their valentines day---girls give guys gifts and on white day guys give the girls gifts--so they made 2 holidays from our one!!), marine day, green day, boys day, girls day, and since they really dont celebrate xmas-the emperor was nice enough to have been born on the 23rd of december thus having the emperors birthday holiday----and a bunch more I dont remember off the top of my head. I do remember having at least ONE holiday every month (minus august--though obon was that month--the time you return to your hometown for the honoring of your ancestors.).... and no school so I had plenty of time to travel around the country

junato--you will need to be more specific since about half of the anime revolves around guns (the other is women...though sometimes these are combined and you get women --barely clad--with guns and then they travel in mechs...)......so please narrrow down the topic for us.

I have nothing against holiday stuff, if it fits the country... i hate it when it's shoved down our throats, also being "forced" to give gifts, candy, eat food with family and such annoys me, why not do it when you WANT to, instead if a specific day?.

Pwnd, i know you like champions League, go check the Group with Barcelona, Panathinaikos, Rubin Kazan and Fc København, who's number 1? :P

I find turkey to be way to dry, compared to what you can eat.

I love food though, a lot :P

Oh Cosy i thought there were only a limited amount, I am watching kenshin Rurouni an episode with smaurai's and a Gatling gun and that reminded me of another anime show with the same scene, but with different characters and bigger swords.

Much like most holidays observed by North Americans both Hallowe'en and Thanksgiving take their roots from other religions. Hallowe'en in particular is from the Celtic celebration of Samhain & the Aztec's Day of the Dead.

Thanksgiving is a different matter for most countries. For the most part, in relation to giving thanks, it's a Pagan tradition, to celebrate the fall solstice (end of the growing season) and to give thanks for a good harvest. In the U.S. it's a ritual of giving thanks to God, and in this context it's historically given for providing safety and victory (or "peace") over the Native Americans.

I can see Thanksgiving being adopted by other countries no problem. Most old religions and cultures already celebrate the solstice and/or the yearly harvest (this is what we celebrate in Canada, which is why our Thanksgiving is a month and a bit earlier than in the U.S.).

Valentine's Day was established by a Pope, I forget which one, around 500'ish AD. It's nothing new and certainly isn't an American holiday. Truth be told there are very few holidays that are American. Most holidays celebrated in Canada & the U.S. are old traditions carried on & adapted from other cultures.

well that narrows it a bit, but there are a lot of anime series where you will have a samurai (with a sword) in the 20th century--thus guns...even lupin had guns and swords!

DRY turkey azzer??? BAD cook---my turkey is rarely dry, you need to get someone who wont overcook it since it should NOT be dry!!!

yum turkey!! cant wait (though since I have a breast in the freezer I can really make it anytime I wish )

My mom makes great turkey. Gah, all this is making me hungry...

Holidays, I like them when I get off of school. That is always good. If they don't get me out of school, then whatever.

Ya, FC Copenhagen is at the top of their group with 6 points. But remember, they haven't played Barca yet and they play Barca AT Barca. Gonna be a tough game for them. Of course Barca hasn't hit form yet so who knows.
